Silent Whisper (Poem)

Posted by Disha Singh on July 30, 2019

Everyday I wake up to do my duties,
Everyday I sleep by doing my duties,
But today there was a silent whisper
In my ears I heard a voice asking me…
Are you aware of your duties towards
Your own-self?

You forget when self becomes selfless
When love become loved-less
When work becomes worked-less
When passion becomes passion-less

There is so much less that you cannot ask for more
There is so much noise that you cannot hear anymore

But this Silent Whisper quietly, very quietly
Leaves its mark, to make me Spark!

Road we knowingly Mis-take (Poem)

Posted by Disha Singh on September 29, 2018
What kind of people are we,

We have a strong will but then we let it be.

We know this is not the road we like to take

But still knowingly we make this mistake.

We have friends with dead soul

We have empty laughters and hearts with hole.

The words ‘we are there for you’ is so materialistic,

That I have to confess I’ve become pessimistic!

Let Go!

Posted by Disha Singh on November 7, 2016
No wonder this is a very small phrase but it holds lot of weightage in life.

Since some last 2 months I’m a happy person and it is possible to these two magically words – Let Go!

After lot of struggle, fights and endless daunting thoughts… now I handle stuff that always slammed my face.

And it happened when this stuff got so worse that there was no room for further discussions. That very time My soul told me let these things go. Kill the past and future, just be in present to enjoy NOW. Now which is beautiful and where I am great by myself.

I found a great companion within myself. The solitude was encouraging and was helpful to take care of myself.

Remember nothing change for always unless you keep putting efforts to maintain it.

Words may lack!

Posted by Disha Singh on August 21, 2016

Many a times we use so many words to explain our heart but have you ever noticed that these words actually kill your feelings…

Yes, Barthes (or Derrida) right understood the “Death of the Author” and for me … I just understood that they meant words will always kill the intensity of feelings. When we frame words they are influenced by our environment i.e. ethics, how other will feel, our personality, our society, and many more elements which will surely change what ultimately comes out of your pen or mouth.

Nobody apart from you will ever know what is going on inside your mind and heart unless you try to put them in words and words will always fail you…

Relax keep calm and stop making people understand how you feel. Those who are for you will surely know themselves.

Remember actions speaks louder than words!

A confession by an Employer

Posted by Disha Singh on February 28, 2016
Employers looking outside window
Employers looking outside window…

Employer… Boss… are the names which are supposed to be hated for any reason . No matter how reasonable one is but their employees will surely find a reason to unlike them….

Today, I was sitting ideal and sipping a cup of coffee while a line of my another friend stroke my mind, he said “You do anything but the employees will never think of you ever when they get an alluring opportunity…” In my case, I argued with words but could not conquer the battle.

That conversation forced me to write this blog as an confession how it feels to be an employer. An employer like us is someone whose world revolve around his employees they are worried about the health, workload, mental state, comfort, happiness, and anything that hits their employees life. We want to spread happiness and it’s a great feeling to be able to provide employment to someone and give them the opportunity to earn a living. We care but we forget that their is only one bond here and that is monetary!

The conversation with my friend started when I discussed how did that day pass… and how one employee of mine, with whom we stood in his thick and thin and many a times we gave money from our own pocket so that he can be out of the trouble, conveyed that he can will leave (not resign) the job… and reason was that he had recently got a hike. This is not this year but a tantrum of every year. Earlier we revised the scale in order to satisfy him as he was doing his duties very nicely. But this year the work quality has been deteriorating… that day the decision was firm! And then there was a long discussion of he encouraging co-worker to leave the job blah… blah…blah!

Not going deep, into the many other incidences, this was an awakening slap on our face and a proof of my friend’s words.

But still somewhere in my heart I do not fully agree with my friend’s quote, but yeah I cannot totally ignore it too.

This creepy tarantula tattoo will scare off arachnophobes out there

Posted by Disha Singh on January 29, 2015
Creepy Tarantula Tattoo

Spider is an intriguing predator known for weaving complex webs and immense patience while awaiting their prey. Many people across the globe get their bodies inked with spider tattoos for its symbolic meaning for creativity, patience and wisdom. Likewise, the tarantula tattoo on leg also symbolizes the same.

Although, it is the creepiest tattoo to scare of any arachnophobe, but clearly shows the wearer’s love towards eight-legged invertebrates. Tattoo artist Tamas Dikac from Hungary has inked this incredible tattoo design on the person’s leg. I am really amazed by this realistic tattoo design that seems as if the creepy crawler is waiting patiently to attack its prey any moment.

I wonder how the person’s friends who are scared of spiders react after seeing this unusual creature on his leg. Moreover, the beautiful detailing of the tattoo represents the artist’s fine talent to bring life into his unusual skin art. Spare a thought about this eerie tattoo design.

Is it a handle or an illusionary tattoo design on arm?

Posted by Disha Singh on January 6, 2015
Is it a handle or an illusionary tattoo design on arm?

Well, don’t be confused this one is an astonishing tattoo design that seems like you could grab the swirling handle-like pattern on the customer- Paddy Buckley’s arm. It is an interesting tattoo design that certainly makes viewers take a second look due to its unusual optical illusion.

This impressive skin art is inked by tattoo artist Paul O’Rourke from Allstar Ink in Limerick, Ireland. The tattoo is so intriguing that it has become an Internet hit and many online visitors are praising this unusual creation. According to O’Rourke, the tattoo design was quite challenging but fun at the same time.

I totally loved the twisted pattern of this delusional tattoo; but wonder how the client deals with people wanting to poke his arm to clear their visionary doubts?

En route into my Memory Lane

The Days were bright and sunny
The lives were full and funny
There were no smiles but carefree laughter
The days passed playing and nights slipped into sound slumber
No worries, no pain
At that we had was mere gain

The roads are same
The heart is same
But today what has changed is my Name!

Wish!

Posted by Disha Singh on February 15, 2014

Wish you understood me better as a person I am…
Wish I dreamt not so high and stand where today I am…
And not be judgmental on every act of your
Wish the day didn’t pour
And heart din get sour
I need no stars but some symbolic flowers

To do and to explain why not done
Are two poles of the earth
On which we stand to see Sun from each point together

The child heart lurking inside me
Wants to be pampered, cared and loved
To the bosom of my mother…

Wish I can grow up never
And live like a child forever n forever….!
